मुख्यमंत्री पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण यांनी लोकसभा निवडणुकीच्या
निकालांबाबत प्रसिद्धीसाठी दिलेले निवेदन :
१६ व्या लोकसभा निवडणुकीचे महाराष्ट्रातील निकाल पूर्णपणे
अनपेक्षित आहेत. आम्ही जनतेचा हा कौल नम्रपणे स्वीकारतो.
‘युपीए’ ने देशात
अनेक महत्वाच्या कल्याणकारी योजना राबविल्या. तरीही काँग्रेस पक्षाला अपेक्षित यश मिळु
शकले नाही.
राज्यातील काँग्रेस पक्षाच्या पराभवाची संपूर्ण नैतिक जबाबदारी
मी स्वीकारतो.
ज्या मतदारांनी आघाडीच्या उमेदवारांना मतदान केले, त्यांचे
मी आभार मानतो. मी श्री. नरेंद्र मोदी यांचे अभिनंदन करतो व त्यांना शुभेच्छा देतो.

The outcome of 16th Loksabha
election in the state is unexpected. We humbly accept the verdict of the
people.
Although the UPA launched many pro-people
programmes, the Congress party did not get success as expected. I accept the
moral responsibility of party’s performance in the state.
I thank all the voters who voted for the Congress-NCP
alliance candidates. I congratulate Shri Narendra Modi for his party’s victory
and wish him all the success.
